The Apurimac River “The God that talks” is one of the best rivers in the world for canoeing, as it has the right conditions for the practice of this sport, such as: Weather, the river starts soft to then find strong encounters, followed by flat water (for safety), beautiful sandy beaches for camping, inhospitable and isolated from civilization.
We leave at 9:00 from Cusco, with destination to the bridge of Huallpachaca (2,000 masl) first we will acclimatize for after lunch, our guide will give the security instructions (How to paddle, How to use the equipment, etc) and we will also have a small practice of rescue in the river, after this, we will begin to navigate, for 01 hour and a half approximately, then we will camp on the banks of the river.
After breakfast, we will set up camp to start navigating rapids, exciting tours stopping only for lunch. After lunch, we will continue navigating until the afternoon (4:30 pm), at which time we will stop to camp.
After breakfast we will continue rafting, running rapids and exciting tours with some risk we must be cautious this last day after 5 hours of navigation, we will arrive at Quinta Primavera (near the Kunyak bridge) which is where we will finish our adventure, there we will have lunch, and then start our return trip to Cusco.
