Maras Moray Chincheros

Pick up from your hotel between 08:00 and 8:30 approximately. We will start by visiting Moray which is located 38 km from Cusco, Moray is considered an Inca agricultural laboratory. Which is made up of 4 “muyus” or circles, which are concentric circular platforms. Temperature variations ranging from 0.5 to 1.5 ° C per platform are also found within the platforms, which can reproduce up to 20 different types of microclimates. Then we will visit the Salineras de Maras, as their name indicates, they are salt mines made up of around 5000 small pools, each pool producing approximately 50 to 80 kilos of salt per station. These are watered by an underground salt water spring, this process is completely natural and lasts almost two months for a growing season, Maras Salt is in high demand and the highest quality variety is Pink mineral salt.

Then we will visit the craft fair of Chincheros, end of the tour we return to Cusco.
