ITINERARY

Day 1 - Lima

Pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel in Lima, this first day arriving according to time, you can enjoy larcomar in the district of Miraflores where you can visit the viewpoint, the park of love and the fabulous restaurants in the area.

Day 2 - City Tour and Magic Circuit of the Waters

Plaza de Armas de Lima, Parque de las Aguas, Circuito Magico del Agua, Lima, Barranco, Miraflores

We begin our tour at Huaca Pucllana with a panoramic view of this important ceremonial center belonging to the Lima culture.

Then we head towards downtown Lima, passing through the different neighborhoods of San Isidro, Lince and Cercado. We appreciate the Palace of Justice, Museum of Lima, Museum of Italian Art, French Palace and Plaza San Martin. Our pedestrian visit begins in the Plaza de Armas where we will appreciate the Cathedral of Lima, Municipal Palace, Government Palace, Archbishop’s Palace; we will have free space to take pictures of the attractions.

We enter the Convent of San Francisco and visit one of the main attractions, its catacombs, which are a series of subway passages under the church, where the ancient inhabitants of the city were buried and where the remains of more than 25,000 people are found. Finally we will have a panoramic view of the Parque del Amor, Pacific Ocean and Larcomar.

Then we enter the Magic Water Circuit, located in the Parque de la Reserva, is a wonderful set of 13 ornamental, cybernetic and interactive fountains where water, music, light, and images are mixed to present unique and incredible shows, full of magic, illusion and fantasy. It holds the Guinness Record as “The World’s Largest Fountain Complex in a Public Park”. This wonderful circuit includes the recovery of more than 7 thousand trees and the restoration of all the existing monuments, including the restoration of the 23 original fountains dating from 1929.

Day 3 - Lima Gastronomic tour

Our gastronomic experience begins in the bohemian district of Barranco. In this space we will be able to appreciate the old architecture of the Barranco neighborhood like the bridge of the sighs among other emblematic places like the Pedro de Osma avenue, typical neighborhood of the district, with its republican mansions and the ficus that give it a unique aspect.

Day 4 - Paracas and Ica

Pick up from the hotel and travel to the city of Paracas. Once you arrive our staff will pick you up from the station and transfer to the port of the Marina or Muelle el Chaco, where you will board a boat to the Ballestas Islands, we will begin our tour to the Ballestas Islands, you will know the mysterious figure of the Candelabro; an impressive design drawn on the side of a hill in the bay of Paracas, then continue towards the Ballestas Islands, where visitors can enjoy an impressive marine scenery full of birds and sea lions. Here we will travel in our airboat around the islands, passing by caves and rock formations.

Finishing the tour we will travel to ICA arriving to the city tour where we will visit in a panoramic way the Main Square of Ica, then we will visit the oldest temple of Ica called “Luren”, then we will go to a candy shop; which offers us a tasting of typical cookies of Ica known as “Paciencias, Revoluciones, Rosquitas y Besitos”, all of them made with Pisco. Then we will go to the town of Cachiche, where stories and legends of ancient witches are told, here we will observe a modern park with different themes related to witchcraft and sorcery, you will also have time for lunch.

We will continue our tour with the Buggy and Sandboarding service, for this we will have to climb a small sand dune located next to the lagoon. Then we will board our buggy and start our adventure. Finally, we will return to the Huacachina Oasis and transfer to Nazca.

DÍA 4 Nazca

Arriving in Nazca we will drop you off at the Casa Andina hotel, overnight. The next day pick up from the hotel and transfer to the airfield, we will start the overflight to the Nazca Lines. The adventure begins now! Enjoy a breathtaking view where you can see 12 enigmatic figures from the air in a 30 minute flight over one of the greatest creations of the ancient world, the Nazca Lines (Our aircraft have panoramic seats and windows).

Transfer from the airfield to the Casa Andina hotel for check out and departure by Cruz del Sur to Lima.

Day 5 Cusco

Pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel in Cusco. In the afternoon, start the city tour knowing the Inca temple Qoricancha, then we leave the city to know the four fortresses of Sacsayhuaman its huge and enigmatic megalithic stones then Qenqo, and the baths of the Inca Tambomachay.

Day 6 - SACRED VALLEY (private)

08:30 a.m. Pick up from the hotel we start our trip to the town of Chinchero, there we will observe the Colonial Temple that lies on the Inca constructions, where was the hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui, likewise we appreciate its typical Inca streets and the craft fair where artisans perform their works of handmade fabrics.

We will continue our trip to the archaeological site of Moray where it was an Inca research center, its particularity lies in its agricultural terraces (also called terraces), which are built as an amphitheater. After visiting Moray we will travel to the salt mines of Maras, the water comes out of a subway stream and is channeled through pools where it evaporates and leaves crystals of pure salt.

Then you will travel to Urubamba to enjoy a buffet lunch at the Tunupa restaurant.

Continue to Ollantaytambo Archaeological Park, we will have a guided visit to the abode of the Inca Pachacuteq. You will visit the impressive monoliths and the temple of the sun. After the tour you will stay at Ollantaytambo station where you will board the Voyager train at 16:36 Hrs. to the town of Aguas Calientes.

Once there, the staff of the Hotel Panorama B & B will be waiting for you to take you to the hotel, where the guide will explain about the next day’s tour.

Day 7 - SACRED VALLEY (private)

After the tour you will stay at Ollantaytambo station where you will board the Voyager train at 16:36 Hrs. to the town of Aguas Calientes.

Once there, the hotel staff will be waiting for you to take you to the hotel, where the guide will explain about the next day’s tour.

Day 8 - Rainbow Mountain Vinicunca

Pick up from the hotel and we will have a trip to Cusipata 3332 masl (1 1/2 hours approx) place where we will have breakfast, then continue 1 hour more to reach the viewpoint of Phulawasipata, point where you can get ready to start the hike for two and a half hours. Along the way you will be able to appreciate the snow-capped mountain of Wiñayritty, when you arrive to the Mountain of Colors Vinicunca (5,070 masl) in the company of the guide you will explore the area who in turn will provide information about the area, then you will have free time to enjoy the landscape where you can get wonderful pictures. Optional If you wish you can continue walking for 20 minutes and visit the viewpoint of the Red Valley, At the conclusion of the visit of the Mountain of colors we return by the same way to Phulawasipata to take the transport, with which we will return to Cusipata, this time to enjoy the buffet lunch. finishing we will return to Cusco city (17:00 pm arrival time approx).

Day 9- Chocolate Museum and Abode of the Gods

This last day of the tour you can have a family activity in the Choco Museum Workshop, ideal for the whole family where you can make delicious chocolates, finishing this nice experience we will leave the city to know the abode of the gods Apukunaq Tianan of Cusco and comes to be a complex of lithic sculptures carved recently by a Cusquenian named Michel de Titan Monteagudo Mejia. This place has enormous sculptures that were dedicated to the gods of the Inca culture and to the Pachamama.
