Sacred Valley of The Incas Tour 1 Day

PISAC: An impressive example of Incan construction. Here you will see one of the Incas greatest achievements characterized by the endless agricultural terraces that adorn the mountainside surrounding the temple of Pisac. At its center you will see a “intiwatana”(stone sundial)and the buildings occupied by the Incan nobility over 500 years ago. After our visit to this ancient Incan village, we will visit the modern-day village of Pisac located on the banks of the Urubamba river and an artisan market containing the arts and crafts made by the local inhabitants. A variety of works in wool, alpaca, silver, gold and more can be expected at this typical Peruvian market.

OLLANTAYTAMBO: After a buffet lunch we will head to the village of Ollantaytambo, where we will visit the amazing Incan fortress of the same name. We will tour the most important sections of the area and be aware the days hike can be considered difficult. Expect steep grades and steps. We recommend you take your time and take bottled water for this part of the tour.

After Ollantaytambo we will return to Cusco.
