The term Sapantiana derives from the quechua words “SAPAN” which means UNIQUE and “TIANA” comes to be SEAT, it is the name of the Inca sacred Huaca which is located near the aqueduct; It is from there the name that this tourist attraction receives. This attraction is a hydraulic architecture from the colonial era that had an important function to channel and allow water to be carried from one peak to another, today it remains as a vestige of the colonial era to be able to appreciate it.
