Machupicchu 5D/4N

Day 1 Reception and City tour

Reception at the airport and transfer to hotel.

Pick up from the hotel, we start by visiting the Cathedral, a temple located in the Plaza de Armas, then we will visit Qoricancha Inca temple, at the end we leave the city to see the four nearby ruins: Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay, finally we return to the city.

Day 2 Sacred Valley and Aguas Calientes

07.30 a.m. Pick up from the hotel; departure for the excursion to the “Sacred Valley of the Incas”, we will start visiting the high Andean town of Pisaq, archaeological remains and then the artisan fair.

We will continue our trip to the town of Urubamba, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch in a tourist restaurant.

After lunch we will continue to the town of “Ollantaytambo”, where we will visit the fortress of Pachacutec.

Finally we will stay at the Ollantaytambo station to take the train to Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night in a comfortable hotel in the same town. It is optional to visit the hot springs to relax.

Day 3 Machupicchu y Waynapicchu mountain

Early after coordination with the guide, from the town of Aguas Calientes we will go to the bus station to go up to the citadel of Machupicchu, the trip lasts 30 minutes approx. To ascend 400m high until reaching the Sanctuary of Machupicchu,

07:00 a.m. We will visit the Mountain of Waynapicchu, where we will have spectacular views, when we return there will be a two-hour guided tour.

In the afternoon we will take the train to Poroy station, in Cusco. Where the driver will wait for you in a private car and transfer to the hotel in Cusco.

Day 4 Maras Moray

08:40 a.m. We go to Moray, a complex of natural holes that were used to build terraces or agricultural platforms with their respective irrigation channels used as an agricultural experiment by the Incas. Then we go to Maras is another complex of natural salt wells, then Chincheros and return to Cusco at 15:00 pm

Day 5 out

7pm Pick up from the hotel and transfer to the airport, in the morning you have free time to walk and visit the museums included in the BTG.
