PALLAY PUNCHU MOUNTAIN

Pallay Punchu of Apu Tacllo Mountain (also known as Colorful Sharp Mountain, The Pallay Poncho Mountain or Condor Sayana) is one of the new tourist destinations of Cusco, that was discovered in the middle of quarantine.

Located more than 194 km from the city of Cusco, on a summit elevation located at 4,791 meters above sea level, it is a great mountain formation, dyed in various shades, because of the complex combination of minerals. The slopes and the summit stand out in various colors, including red, purple, green, pink, white and others.

We will start our adventure at 4:00 am with a pick up from your hotel, then we will head to South of Cusco, a trip that will last three and a half hours to the province of Sicuani, we will have breakfast, later we will continue our journey for one hour more to the district of Layo. In this place we will continue by walking to the Pallay Punchu Mountain of Apu Tacllo, a distance of 5 kilometers that it will take approximately one hour and a half of walking.

We will reach an altitude of (4790 m / 15715 ft) where we will have the full view of the wonderful Pallay Punchu of Apu Tacllo. After we have finished exploring this beautiful place ,we will take the last pictures and return to our transport that lead to Sicuani Province to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. After finishing lunch, we will return to Cusco and this adventure will end at your hotel with sublime memories that you will never forget this experience in the Peruvian Andes.
